Headspace is probably the most popular app which can be trialed for free for a period of time and then requires a monthly or yearly payment.

Calm is a useful free way to keep track of how many consecutive days you have meditated for, with daily reminders and handy timers. There is a lot of other great, free features on there including a nicesleep story read by Stephen Fry! Some of the content requires a payment, however there is plenty to try for free.
